Primary Outcome Measures Number of Participants Who Experience a Dose-limiting Toxicity (DLT) Per Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (AEs), Version 5.0 (CTCAE) [ Time Frame: Up to 3 weeks ] DLTs will be assessed during the first cycle (21 days) and are defined as Grade (Gr) 4 hematologic toxicities (any period), except neutropenia and febrile neutropenia. Gr 4…

A Feasibility Study Evaluating Surgery for Mesothelioma After Radiation Therapy Using Extensive Pleural Resection (SMARTER)

September 27, 2019
Categories: , , , ,

Primary Outcome Measures Maximum Tolerated Dose for Background Radiation [ Time Frame: Up to five years ]AEs will be graded by CTCAE. Maximum tolerated dose is the dose level that do not result in fatal lung injury (grade 5 lung toxicity) or life-threatening or fatal treatment related toxicity (grade 4+). Secondary Outcome Measures Patient Morbidity [ Time Frame: Up to five years ]NCI…

A Clinical Study of Anetumab Ravtansine in Adults With Solid Tumors Who Have Been Treated in Previous Bayer-sponsored Anetumab Ravtansine Studies

September 20, 2019
Categories: , , ,

The purpose of this study is to enable patients with solid tumors, who received anetumab ravtansine in a Bayer-sponsored clinical trial, to continue treatment after their respective study has been closed. The patients will be observed to collect information on how safe and efficient the drug is.

Anti-Mesothelin Immunotoxin LMB-100 Followed by Pembrolizumab in Malignant Mesothelioma

September 13, 2019
Categories: , , , , ,

Treatment outcomes for people with pleural or peritoneal mesothelioma are often poor. The drug LMB-100 can attack and kill cancer cells. The drug pembrolizumab helps the immune system fight cancer. Together, these drugs might help people with these cancers.

Using a Targeted Cancer Vaccine (Galinpepimut-S) With Immunotherapy (Nivolumab) in Mesothelioma

August 9, 2019
Categories: , , ,

Primary Outcome Measures Maximum tolerated dose [ Time Frame: up to 24 months ]A dose will be considered tolerable if there are no more than 2 out of 10 participants with dose limiting toxicities. Inclusion Criteria Age >/= 18 years Karnofsky performance status >/= 70% Pathologic diagnosis of malignant pleural mesothelioma at MSK Positive immunohistochemical staining for WT-1 Patients…

Impact of Cardiac Coherence on Anxiety in Patients Operated on for a Peritoneal Carcinosis (COCOON)

July 19, 2019
Categories: , , ,

Primary Outcome Measures Subjective anxiety score by using the state-trait anxiety inventory form A (STAI-Y form A) questionnaire [ Time Frame: 90 days ]State anxiety reflects the current emotional state, which allows the patient’s nervousness and worry to be assessed during the session. The range is from 20 (lower anxiety) to 80 (higher anxiety). The patient must answer 20…

MTG201 Plus Nivolumab in Patients With Relapsed Pleural Mesothelioma

July 12, 2019
Categories: , , ,

Twelve patients with relapsed malignant pleural mesothelioma will be treated with intratumoral injections of MTG201, a replication incompetent adenovirus, modified by the insertion of the reduced expression in immortalized cells (REIC)/Dikkopf (Dkk)-3 gene, on Days 1, 8, 22, and 50. Patients will also receive every 4 weekly intravenous infusions of nivolumab, 480 mg, starting on Day 2. Safety and anti-tumor activity will be monitored at regular intervals throughout the study.

Phase 1/2 Trial of TC-210 T Cells in Patients With Advanced Mesothelin-Expressing Cancer

May 3, 2019
Categories: , , ,

TC-210 T cells are a novel cell therapy that consists of autologous genetically engineered T cells expressing a single-domain antibody that recognizes human Mesothelin, fused to the CD3-epsilon subunit which, upon expression, is incorporated into the endogenous T cell receptor (TCR) complex.
This Phase 1/2 study aims to establish the recommended Phase 2 dose (RP2D) and subsequently determine an overall response rate in patients with advanced mesothelin-expressing cancers.

A Study of CA-170 (Oral PD-L1, PD-L2 and VISTA Checkpoint Antagonist) in Patients With Advanced Tumors and Lymphomas

February 25, 2019
Categories: , , ,

CA-170 is a rationally designed and orally available, small molecule that directly targets the Programmed death-ligands 1 and 2 (PD-L1/PD-L2), and V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation (VISTA) immune checkpoints and results in activation of T cell proliferation and cytokine production. This is a multi-center, open-label, Phase 1 trial of orally administered CA-170 in adult patients with advanced solid tumors or lymphomas who have progressed or are non-responsive to available therapies and for which no standard therapy exists.

Feasibility of the LUM Imaging System for Peritoneal Surface Malignancies

February 15, 2019
Categories: , , ,

This single-site, feasibility study to assess the initial safety and efficacy of the LUM Imaging System for in vivo imaging of metastases to the peritoneum from primary gastrointestinal cancer, ovarian cancer and mesothelioma. This feasibility study consists of two parts: (a) a dose escalation phase to select the optimal dose followed by (b) enrollment of additional patients to develop the tumor detection algorithm.
